To Date Bang has 4 points towards her Field Champion Title and 4 points towards her Amateur Field Champion Title. She is a Junior Hunter. Bang has recently retired from the show ring as our son Colson's first Junior Showmanship dog. Bang is now 11 years young and still hunts every opportunity she gets. We would like to finish her Master Hunter Title.
Bang is a wonderful family dog as well. She enjoys playing ball, teaching all the incoming puppies how to "dog" and loves to watch TV.
Bang has all of the qualities of a well bred bird dog: she can really cover ground well despite her smaller size, she's stylish and intense on point, she has a natural honor and retrieve. She's independent and flashy, but stays within range suitable for a hunter on foot and checks in. Her size allows her to get into cover that would inhibit larger dogs. Being born and raised in Nevada has given her an advantage over other dogs, she has adapted to the extreme low humidity and has developed a keen sense of smell that dogs from regions with higher humidity do not possess. As a four year old, she has really come into her game and matured into a first class gun dog. Chukar are her favorite game, she will go hard all day in order to get the hunter into the birds.
Bang consistantly gives 110% of anything asked of her, whether it's bird hunting, field trialing, or showing.
